Ciana Spa and Salon

I discovered this site by doing a search on Citysearch. I admit I was drawn to this spa/salon because of it's name.  I mean how can you NOT go to a place that practically has the same name as yours? Well it's a good thing I followed my gut instincts because I love this place!  Thus far I've gotten a haircut, highlights, and a massage there:

The haircut: 9/10. my stylist, Melanie was very attentive to me and the most miraculous thing was that she cut my hair in under 1 hour! Most stylists take FOREVER cutting my hair. But she didn't. The haircut came out great and is growing out even better. My only complaint is that it didn't come out EXACTLY the way I asked for, but it was close enough.

The highlight: 8.5/10. The  weaving of the highlights came out well.  So well that it blended well with my hair. Only complaint is that my hair came out a little blonder than I expected. However, after a week or two the highlights are  the color that I wanted.

The massage: 8.5/10. The massage was great.  It's a great place for a swedish massage. But if you're into the deep tissue and shiatsu - you should find another place to go to.

All in all, i love this place. The best part about this place? The next day specials! These specials are AMAZING.  What Ciana does is they send out an email the day before their specials. The specials will range from 30-50% off spa and salon treatments. Why do they do this? Well - to fill in empty slots they have in the day. It's better to get a customer that is paying something rather than one who is paying nothing.  In fact - I got my highlights half off! From $150 to $75.  Another great thing about this salon is that it's an Aveda Salon and the products they use are completely natural.
